FlashcardPrinter ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how FlashcardPrinter’s web pages on this site—the main app, Help, and this page—handle your data. Separate tools hosted outside this site are not covered here.
FlashcardPrinter does not collect, transmit, or retain personal data on its own systems. User-provided content—including flashcards, settings, and files you import—remains entirely within your browser unless you choose to export it (for example PDF or CSV; see Imports, exports, and print).
Card content, layout choices, printer calibration profiles, and related preferences are processed in your browser. They are saved in your browser’s local storage so your work persists between visits. We do not operate a backend that receives or stores your decks on your behalf.
Typical local storage keys include theme, card data, next card id, card size, calibration profiles, current calibration selection, and tutorial state. Clearing site data for this origin removes them.
Data retention: We retain none of your flashcard content on our systems; persistence is user-controlled through your browser’s local storage and any files you save when you export.
When your browser loads this site or third-party resources, Cloudflare, jsDelivr, and (when you use Feedback) Google Forms may each receive standard technical information—such as IP address and request metadata—as part of normal web requests. Each operates under its own privacy policy (see Cloudflare, jsDelivr, and Google). FlashcardPrinter does not control how those providers process that traffic and does not store on its own systems data that they process when you use the site or embedded form.
When you use the app online, your browser loads pages, styles, scripts, images, and (for some PDFs) font files from this site. The site is served through Cloudflare Pages; as with any edge host, Cloudflare may process connection metadata (for example URL, time, and IP address) when delivering those files. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for how they describe that processing.
The app also loads JavaScript libraries from jsDelivr (content delivery network): pdf-lib and fontkit for PDFs; JSZip and SQL.js for Anki .apkg import. Library requests are for code only; your flashcard database is not uploaded to the CDN as part of that process.
PDF generation and Anki unpacking run in your browser. The CDN supplies library files only; your card content is not uploaded to jsDelivr as part of those requests, and this app does not send your decks to a FlashcardPrinter-operated backend.
For aggregate site usage measurement, pages on this site may load Cloudflare Web Analytics from static.cloudflareinsights.com. See Web analytics.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit this site and how pages are used over time—for example, daily visit counts. This helps us improve FlashcardPrinter; we do not use it for advertising or to sell your data.
When enabled, your browser loads a small analytics script from Cloudflare and sends limited, aggregated usage data (such as page views and basic technical information) to Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes that data under its own privacy policy. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation for details on what they collect and how they describe their product.
Web Analytics does not receive your flashcard text, imported files, calibration profiles, or other content you enter in the app. It is not tied to a FlashcardPrinter account because the app does not offer sign-in.
You can reduce or block analytics collection with browser privacy settings, extensions that block scripts, or network tools that block requests to Cloudflare’s analytics endpoints. Blocking the script does not affect core app features.
The Feedback control opens an embedded Google Form. If you use it, your browser loads Google’s pages and anything you submit is handled under Google’s privacy policy. FlashcardPrinter does not receive that submission through its own server from this embedded form.
CSV, Quizlet text paste, and Anki file import read content you provide on your device. CSV backup and PDF download save files locally via your browser. Printing uses your system print dialog.
This app does not include advertising trackers, social-media pixels, or similar marketing tools tied to FlashcardPrinter. We do not ask you to sign in for core features, and we do not sync your decks to our own cloud service from this client-side app.
Aside from Cloudflare Web Analytics (described above), we do not run our own analytics backend that receives your flashcard content.
Because your data is stored locally on your device, you effectively control access, deletion, and portability—for example through built-in exports and by clearing site data as described below.
You can clear stored flashcard data and settings by:
